#FreeTaxstone: Famous Podcaster Arrested In NYC

Loud Speaker podcast host Daryl “Taxstone” Campbell was arrested Monday morning (Jan 16th) in connection with the Troy Ave shooting that took place last year at Irving Plaza in NYC. The shooting occurred during a T.I. show inside Irving Plaza back in May, a shooting that took the life of Troy Ave bodyguard, Ronald McPhatter. Troy Ave can be seen on surveillance footage firing a gun, but he insisted that he was the victim. Troy was shot during the shootout that May night.

Tax who’s “Tax Season” Podcast holds a 5-star rating on Apple iTunes was taken into custody and is scheduled to appear in court on a weapons possession charge on Tuesday. Tax has been under investigation for his alleged involvement in the May shooting, but he maintains his innocence and non-involvement.

Tax who speak of his past jail time for weapons and robbery charges have seen his turn for the best since taking over twitter with his color commentary caught the attention of Power 105.1fm Breakfast Club host Charlamagne Tha God. Tax was a regular guest on Charlamagne MTV show Uncommon Sense.

Tax lawyer Ken Montgomery released a statement saying Tax will be arraigned Tuesday morning and that he is looking forward to hearing the complaint from the government.
