The rumor mill is blazing right now that Future is about to drop a new album (again) this Friday.
Future who lost a legal battle to ex-friend and former manager is sid to be sitting on a ton of material. The workaholic Future and Epic have agree to give all royalties from his next two albums to Rocko. In addition to the albums, Future will also give Rocko 50% of all touring revenues for the next two years.
For LA Reid and Epic to recoup the advance that they will forfeit while Future pays Rocko back, Future signed a 360 agreement with LA. To pay Epic back, Future will give a percentage of any deals made outside of music to Epic until his back advancements are paid or for the next five years, whichever comes first. LA and Epic will also be collecting on the front end on all of Future’s music ventures.
It makes sense for Future to drop another album right before hitting the road for his Nobody Safe Tour. The reviews for Future’s self-titled album was not up to the week long hype that fans were expecting. A few standout tracks mixed with a bunch of “throw-away” tracks shows that Future is putting out this music to appease his legal obligations.
