Jay Z Set To Produce A Miniseries On First African American Army Snipper

Jay Z is set to take over the small screen,yet again!

After announcing two projects last week, Hov is set to produce the upcoming NBC drama about Nicholas “The Reaper” Irving, the first black special ops sniper in the U.S. Army.

Emmy Winner Sterling K. Brown, who won  for “The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story,” is set to star as Irving in the six-hour miniseries, which is based on “The Reaper: Autobiography of One of the Deadliest Special Ops Snipers.”

Irving is credited for having 33 kills during a four-month span in 2009 while serving in the army.

Since announcing his partnership with The Weinstein Company, Jay has announced Lee Daniels as director of the upcoming  Richard Pryor biopic and a Spike TV criminal justice docuseries based on the life of Kalief Browder.
