Get your 4th of July started off with some new music from Meek Mill. Today the Philly emcee dropped the second installment to his “Meekend” series. The first installment came on Meeks 30th bday back on May 6th.
Things got a little bit heated at an after-party of last night BET Awards, Chris Brown who is still not over his ex-girlfriendKarrueche who is reportedly dating Quavo from Migos allegedly got into an altercation.
Sources say that the Migos was entering the venue around the same time as Brown was wrapping up the premiere of his new video with Future, the Nick Walker-directed “Pie.” When the Migos team saw Brown’s, TMZ claimed, “things got tricky.”
A witness said that Quvao was “pushed” by someone in Brown’s team at which point a Migos crew member intervened and “then got punched.” Brown, however, reportedly “kept walking” and remained uninvolved directly. Eventually, Brown was reportedly met at his car by friends of Migos. Local police reportedly arrived at the scene, but only after everyone had already left.
Post Malone and Migos continue the party on stage with a few joints to get the crowd going. Post kicked things off with his hit “Congratulations” with Quavo, then Migos come out with their medley of hits.
In the surprise new video from Future and Chris Brown, the pair throws a nice little private party for the two of them with some nice ladies to accompany them.
Talking to BET, Future explained that the video has been waiting for its release. “We’ve had this video for a second,” he said. “We’ve been working on it for a second and we feel real good about this song. I asked Chris, ‘Is it a hit?’ He said, ‘For sure. We got one.’”

Apparently, things got a little bit out of hand outside of DJ Khaled fashion party in LA yesterday. In some video clips that made its way to social media late Friday night, it shows a very upset Safaree claiming to have been jumped by Meek Mill crew outside the event. In one video you can see a scuffle happening and Safaree running away for safety while another guy is taking the pounding from what looks like security guards. But what we don’t see is Meek Mill in the shot.
A later video shows Safaree telling the story of what just took place. The two have had their differences in the past but let’s just hope things like this can stop and they can move on and continue to make money.
